Choruso takes your privacy seriously. This policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and how we protect it. We collect only what we need to create your song and deliver your purchase.

2. Information We Collect

Information you provide during the chat:

• Personal stories, memories, and relationship details you share
• Names of people the song is about
• Musical preferences and style choices

Information collected at checkout:

• Email address (via Stripe)
• Billing name and country (via Stripe)
• Payment details — handled entirely by Stripe, never seen or stored by us

3. How We Use Your Information

• To generate your personalized song, lyrics, and artwork
• To deliver your purchase confirmation and download links by email
• To provide ongoing access to your purchased files
• To improve the quality of our AI generation (using anonymized data only)

We do not use your personal stories for advertising, marketing profiling, or any purpose unrelated to creating your song.

4. Third-Party Services

We use the following third-party services to operate Choruso. Each has its own privacy policy:

• OpenAI — generates your song lyrics and powers the chat conversation
• Suno — converts lyrics into audio
• Google Gemini — generates your AI cover artwork
• Stripe — processes payments securely. We never see or store your card details.
• Supabase — stores your song data and files
• Resend — delivers your purchase confirmation email
• Google Analytics & Google Ads — measures anonymous, aggregated site usage to help us improve Choruso, and (if we run advertising) measures campaign performance. May set cookies and processes a truncated IP address; only enabled with your consent.

We share only the minimum information each service needs to do its job. We do not sell your data to any third party.

5. Data Retention

Your song files, lyrics, and artwork are stored indefinitely so you can access your downloads at any time. The personal story details you shared during the chat are stored alongside your project. You may request deletion of your data at any time by contacting us.

6. Cookies & Consent

We use a small number of cookies:

• Strictly necessary cookies — for session management and security. These are always active.
• Analytics & advertising cookies — Google Analytics measures anonymous, aggregated usage so we can improve Choruso. If we run advertising campaigns, Google may also set cookies to measure their performance.

When you first visit, we ask for your consent before enabling analytics and advertising cookies. Until you accept, they stay disabled — we use Google Consent Mode, so no analytics or advertising cookies are stored without your consent. You can change your choice at any time using the “Cookie Preferences” link in the footer, and you can opt out of Google Analytics entirely with Google’s browser add-on at tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout.

7. Your Rights

You have the right to:

• Request a copy of the data we hold about you
• Request correction of inaccurate data
• Request deletion of your data

8. Security

We use industry-standard security practices including encrypted connections (HTTPS), secure cloud storage, and access-controlled databases. No method of transmission over the internet is 100% secure, but we take reasonable steps to protect your information.

9. Children's Privacy

Choruso is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, contact us and we will delete it.

10. Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy from time to time. We will notify users of significant changes by posting a notice on our website.
